SalaryWe are looking for a Medical Biller. The biller is responsible for reviewing all medical charges before submission to the insurance provider, following up on claim denials, communicating with insurance companies and patients about outstanding balances and working closely with the physician to improve their practice. This job requires both a willingness to follow up aggressively with insurance companies as well as an ability to focus on details about medical charges.
This position is in a fast-pasted clinic serving two doctors and requires travel between Englewood, Fl and Port Charlotte, FL. The physicians are very hands on so the candidate must be comfortable with working closely with the doctors, working independently, and being detail oriented.
Requirements:
At least one year of experience as a biller is necessary.
Must be extremely detailed and self sufficient
Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR)
Strong knowledge of Google Drive and Sheets
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines
Excellent problem-solving skill
