We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Biller to join our team. The Medical Biller will be responsible for accurately coding and billing medical procedures, ensuring timely reimbursement from insurance companies, and maintaining patient records. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical billing systems, coding procedures, and medical terminology.
```Duties:```
- Review and verify accuracy of patient demographic and insurance information
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG) to procedures for billing purposes
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims to ensure proper reimbursement
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or issues
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients regarding billing inquiries or concerns
```Experience:```
- Proven experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role - OBGYN Experience preferred
- Knowledge of medical billing systems and software
- Familiarity with medical coding procedures (ICD-10, ICD-9, DRG)
- Understanding of medical terminology and anatomy
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
