SalaryResponsibilities:
- Review, post and ensure accurate insurance payments
- Review and analyze lab records to ensure accurate coding and billing
- Assign appropriate ICD-10 and CPT codes to diagnoses and lab procedures
- Verify patient insurance information and submit claims to insurance companies
- Follow up on unpaid or denied claims and resolve any billing discrepancies
- Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Experience:
- 1 year experience in medical billing and coding
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines and reimbursement processes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in coding and billing procedures
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients, healthcare providers, and insurance companies
