MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare claim forms and billing invoices weekly for all third-parties and ensure proper transmission of electronically transmitted information
• Follow through on any denied claims with the appropriate third-party representative to determine what steps to take to remedy the situation which caused the denial
• Post all insurance payments
• Provide CFO with monthly reports, such as, Summary Journal, Detail Journal, Cash Collections Summary and Patient Balance Due Summary Report
• Responsible for tracking and monitoring insurance authorizations
• Participate in Performance Improvement activities
• Perform other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma with training in finance/bookkeeping and business software and at least 3 to 5 years’ of related work experience.
