Job type: Part-time Monday-Friday 3:30p-6p, and Saturdays 7:30a-12p

Salary: $16.00 per hour

The Patient Service Representative is the first point of contact for our patients and is an integral part of our Orthopaedic team. As a Patient Service Representative, you will rotate between Check-in and Check-out and perform the following:

Job Responsibilities:

• Verifying patient insurance day prior to patients scheduled appointment
• Greeting patients and checking them in for their appointment
• Obtain outstanding patient payments and copays/deductibles due at time of service
• Schedule follow up appointments and assist with the completion of forms and paperwork for their visit or follow up needs
• Assist patients with follow up questions regarding future appointments
• Faxing/referrals
• Office duties

Job Requirements:

• Previous medical office experience preferred
• Ability to maintain composure in a fast-paced team environment
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills
• Professional attitude and appearance a must
• Insurance knowledge
• Computer skills

Education/Certification Requirements

High School Diploma required.
