Rapidly growing Medical and Cosmetic Dermatology Practice in Langhorne, PA is seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated, articulate Front Desk Associates and medical assistant with strong customer service background and organizational skills to join the practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Greeting and welcoming patients.
Punctuality.
Check in, Check out process of patients in office
Assisting patients with completion of paperwork when necessary.
Informing practice manager or assistant practice manager of waiting room wait times, patient flow, and communicating with patients accordingly.
Use of EMR, ipads, Apple products
Obtaining accurate medical history from patients, proper medical intake.
Scribing for doctor.
Prepping and cleaning exam rooms for medical, cosmetic and procedural dermatology.
Answering phone calls in a prompt and polite manner.
Scheduling appointments as needed in accordance with the provider schedule.
Registering new patients and updating existing patient demographics by collecting patient information in a timely accurate manner.
Processing medical insurance information, verifying patient eligibility and addressing patient questions about insurance.
Direct patient financial inquiries to appropriate staff in the billing department.
Message intake for medical questions, prescription refills, and test results. Transferring calls and inquiries to providers and care coordinators accordingly.
Follow office rules and regulations when it comes to visiting pharmaceutical representatives.
Providing outstanding customer service to every patient.
Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor at all times.
Assisting other practice team members as needed.
Attending all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
Performing additional duties as assigned.
Ability to effectively interact with providers, patients and other staff members.
Opening/Closing office on a rotating basis.
QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
A High School Degree or Equivalent (Preferred)
Minimum one year medical front office experience or pharmacy technician, preferably Dermatology (Required)
Computer Proficiency, Navinet proficiency (Preferred)
MUST BE ABLE TO PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK. (Required)
Positive, welcoming, and can-do attitude with patients and other practice team members. Experience working in any high-volume/high-intensity customer service industry
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Detail-oriented and a team player.
Flexible/adaptable nature to work in a fast paced and continuously evolving environment.
