Medical Assistant/Front Office - Evening Shift

POSITION TITLE:

Medical Assistant (Front Office)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Welcoming patients with a warm welcome, positive attitude
• Clerical duties: Verifying insurance, registering patients, answering phone lines, faxing, medical records, taking payments

• Proper telephone etiquette
• Updating patient demographics by collecting proper documents
• Scanning documents
• Capable of maintaining a smooth patient flow for registration
• Collecting co-payments, deductibles
• Closing register/shift end of night
• Sanitizing reception area and front office on down time
• Some back office duties will apply such as rooming patients, performing vitals and working with EMR
• Other duties assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

Required License/Certificates, education, experience and training

• Multi-task
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance
• High School Diploma
• BLS certification, and
• M.A. Certificate
• Experience in the medical field
• Excellent computer skills
• Reliable transportation

Clinic Manager

Job Type: Front Office Medical Assistant Full-time

Pay: D.O.E.

Schedule:

• 20-30 or 30-40 hrs, Every other Saturday are required
• (EVENING POSITION ONLY)
• 12-8pm (Monday-Friday)
• 10am-3pm (Saturdays)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.04 per hour
