Medical Assistant/Administrative
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the medical office staff.
- Greet and check-in patients, ensuring accurate demographic information is obtained
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
- Prepare and maintain medical charts and documentation
-Room patients, including health history and vitals
Opportunity for cross training to include equipment reprocessing and additional clinical activities.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certification in medical assisting or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems and other office software applications
