Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team!

Will need front desk experience as well in a primary care medical practice.

We are a very busy Family Medicine practice in Hollywood, FL with 5 Providers.

Responsibilities for Medical Assistant:

• Get patients ready for the providers
• vitals
• blood drawing
• contacting patients to return for appointments (RTC)
• creating lab req's
• rx's
• informing patients of results
• help with answering some phone calls
• any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• We use Allscripts EHR and will need to have experience in working with an EMR system
• Previous experience in medical office front desk, and at least 1-2 years of Medical Assistant experience necessary.
• Ability to learn quickly and work well with others
• Strong organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary
