SalaryOur Medical Assistants work directly with the physicians and the staff nurses in all aspects of outpatient medical care. Responsibilities include:
Rooming patients
Obtaining vitals
Obtaining a brief history
Preforming standard outpatient laboratory tests
Giving injections
EHR documentation
Patient education
Communication with outside facilities (labs, hospitals, and schools)
Front office work such as answering phones and scheduling appointments
Assisting with medical records
The successful candidate will be flexible with the ability to assist in multiple areas of the office. Occasional requirement of working the He/she will have strong communication and excellent interpersonal skills in order to effectively help patients and their families. This job is well suited to a bright, ambitious individual who is eager to learn and who desires to be an important part of a busy medical team.
Clinical staff also works 1/2 day every 4th Saturday
