Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.
We are currently recruiting at the following sites:
- La Jolla (Anderson Medical Pavilion) > UroGyn
These positions are Fulltime, working Monday – Friday from 8am – 4:30pm. Shift variability depending upon department needs. You may be floated to other Scripps Clinics on an as needed basis.

The ideal candidate will be someone with previous experience working as a Medical Assistant, and has experience delivering exceptional patient care in a UroGyn department. In this role you will assist the department clinically as a Medical Assistant, and will also support the team with front office responsibilities such as answering phones, scheduling, and call backs when needed. Clinically you will support our Provider by checking patient vitals, rooming, stocking patient rooms, and assisting with procedures such as colposcopies, LEEPs, biopsies, and also educating patients.
Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
- Completion of a formal Medical Assistant Program, or Medical Assistance Certification, or a minimum of two years of experience as a military corpsman
Required Certification/Registration:
- BLS certification for the Healthcare Provider by the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
- One year of experience as an MA in an outpatient setting
- OBGYN clinic experience
