We're looking to hire a Registered/Certified Medical Assistant for our Internal Medicine office. This position is currently part-time (Tuesday: 9AM to 5:30PM and Thursday: 8AM to 5PM).

- Directs patient to proper exam/treatment rooms.
- Performs patient intake (vital signs, medication reconciliation, performs EKG/Holter Monitor, Injections-as needed).
- Maintains neat and clean, organized work areas, cleans/sanitizes work areas and exam rooms routinely.
- Appointment scheduling, patient check-in/out, and other front office tasks including collecting co-pays, referrals, answering phones, and message taking.
- Consistently projects a positive office image by maintaining professional behaviors at all times including smiling, greeting patients with enthusiasm, and interacting with patients and staff in an upbeat and helpful manner. Neat, clean and professional scrub attire expected.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation, must be dependable. Flexibility to work additional days, if needed.
- Applicant must be a problem solver, offer flexibility, and be open-minded.
- Internal Medicine/Family Practice background preferred but not necessary.
- Candidate must have knowledge regarding medications names and their usage.
- Knowledgeable with EMR (eClinicalWorks, a plus).
