Form of workPrimeCare Medical is currently looking for an Administrative Assistant to work part-time on the evening or Night Shift in the medical department at the St. Mary's County Detention Center.
In this role the Administrative Assistant will provide clerical support to the Mental Health staff at the facility.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide full administrative and clerical support to the mental health department
- Handles incoming phone calls from other departments and facilities
- Filing, faxing and data entry
- Scanning documents into the computer
- Strong computer skills with MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Assisting with the credentialing process of new hires
- Maintaining a staff log
- Scheduling transports
- Scan medical files and responding to record requests
- Work closely with management team in the medical department regarding daily needs
- Assisting with billing
