We are seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse to join our Obstetrics & Gynecology Clinic at the Legacy Emanuel Medical Center campus in North Portland. You will work with exceptional physicians who value their team and working together to help our patients get the best possible care.
Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care.
This position will support our physician team with daily operations of patient care. Primary duties include rooming patients, obtaining vitals, cleaning/stocking exam rooms, assisting providers with examinations and in-office surgical procedures, scheduling, obtaining pertinent medical records, patient education, and be part of our workflow improvement team as we strive to provide the best patient care. Previous OBGYN experience is a plus!
Workdays will be Monday-Friday, with rotating Saturday clinic coverage (typically 1 to 2 times per month).
Starting pay range, based on experience:
- MA: $21.66 - $29.30 per hour.
- LPN: $26.36 - $35.66 per hour.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.
Qualifications:
- Must be a Credentialed Medical Assistant (AAMA, NCCT or similar are acceptable) or a current nursing license.
- New grads must be Credentialed within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum 1-year prior OBGYN experience strongly preferred.
- Previous scheduling and EMR experience preferred; Centricity/Athena Practice V20 experience a plus!
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines.
