Summary:
Presbyterian is hiring a Medical Assistantfor the OB/GYN Clinic at Pan American / Northside. The MA provides primary support to the provider by proactively anticipating the provider needs, preparing the patient for the visit using established patient preparation guidelines, maintaining efficient patient flow, and assisting the provider with treatments and procedures. Provides support for clerical functions to include scheduling, referrals, and prior authorizations. Performs activities to maintain a clean, stocked, safe, and well-organized patient care environment. Provides in-basket support with the EMR.
*Prior Healthcare experience preferred
*Successful completion of Presbyterian MA Advanced Skills Training within 12 months of hire
*BLS (AHA, Red Cross or ASHI Healthcare Provider) required within 90 days of hire.
*High School Diploma or GED

The compensation range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors, including but not limited to experience and training, internal equity, and other business and organizational needs. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each offer.
