Medical Assistant Needed F/T And P/T

We have 2 positions: 1 Full Time with medical and vision benefit, holiday pay, sick pay, retirement plan.

1 perdiem position: 2-3 days a week. Possible for more hours in the near future. (Depending on staffing). The Per-diem Position is Ideal for a Pre-PA student, Pre-Nursing student who wants to gain experience to apply for graduate school.

Medical Assistant/Scribe/Clerical

We are willing to train.

Job duties:

Front and Back office
Check eligibility, perform EKGs, answer phones, vital patients, send medications via Eprescribe, referrals for HMO patients (Allied IPA/ Optum HMO).

Qualifications: Typing skills 60+ excellent customer service skills, team player, be able to use the computer and navigate through multiple websites efficiently. Need problem solving skills, need to be able to work independently. Looking for a team player who is responsible and dependable. We currently have an exceptional team of aspiring PA, nursing and medical doctor.

Patient load day: 18-20
Staff members: 5-7
One doctor only (Internal Medicine)

Hours: Mon-Friday 9:00-5:30pm (variable depending on shift 8:30am-5pm or 9:30am-6pm) depending on patient care and shift. Closed Saturdays and Sundays.

Pay: Depends on Experience. Initial training pay is $16.50/hr

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 40 per week
