We at Fairview Health Services are looking for Medical Assistant to join the Fairview Bloomington Urgent Care! We are approved to hire for a position that is 48 hours every two weeks. This role does require that you are able to work every-other weekend. To find out more about the benefits we offer including PTO, Medical/Dental insurance, 401k/403B, and free parking, click HERE. We are also offering $4000 bonus! We will also ask that this position float to our other Urgent Care locations in the surround areas. Pay for this role starts at $22.50 and increases based on experience. You may be asked to work at our other locations including Edina and Mall of America when needed.

As a member of the care team, the Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team supporting the needs of the healthcare team and patients. The MA will collect information and documents to support the patient visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting cohesion with all members of the health care team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow
- Delivers care as delegated by the authorized practitioner to assigned patient population, or individual patient.
- Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, available resources, patient support team preferences, provider schedule, in collaboration with other care team members.
- Efficiently communicates compliance and concerns to delegating physician/authorized practitioner/RN.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
- Basic Life Support Certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Ambulatory Care Experience
- AAMA Certification
