Form of workFairview Health Services is looking for Medical Assistant at our Princeton Specialty Clinic! This position is a casual role and all hours will be as needed. Pay for this role starts at $22.50 and increases based on experience. The MA in this role will work in surgical specialties and will also float to other departments within our multi-specialty clinic.

Responsibilities Job Description
As a member of the patients care team, a Medical Assistant supports quality patient- and family-centered care principles through performing a variety of high standard functions within a care team to support the needs of the healthcare team and patients/support network. The Medical Assistant will collect information and detail the patient's visit. The MA is responsible for adhering to all policies, procedures and practice guidelines, promoting communication with all members of the team, maintaining complete, timely and accurate clinical documentation for each patient and continually looking for opportunities to improve processes and workflow.
Medical Assistants and M Health Fairview deliver care as delegated by the patients Physicians, or RN. They are able to prioritize work based on need, available resources, patient preferences, provider schedule, and work in collaboration with the physician/authorized practitioner as well as other health care team members. You may also perform high, and low risk, technical procedures during your daily work which could include: medication administration, assistance with CPR, assistance with procedures which may include lab draws

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program or LPN
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Ambulatory Care Experience
- AAMA Certification
High standard of creative prioritization skills and priority setting. Shown focus on customer service/patient service with every interaction. Excellent public relations and interpersonal/communication skills. Work as an effective team member to deliver outstanding care. Ability to use appropriate computer applications. Capable of working independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills. Ability to accept change and empower those around you to engage in ongoing process improvement.
