Medical Assistant

Inviting a friendly, energetic, detail-oriented and experienced Medical Assistant to apply for our team. You will be working alongside a team of professionals for well-known, highly regarded, dermatology practice who put our patients above all else.

Qualifications:

Customer service experience required
Must be computer literate
CPR certification strongly preferred
Dermatology knowledge a plus
Ability to learn and understand medical terminology
Able to work at a fast pace, multi-task and have strong attention to detail
Comfortable using an I-Pad

Able to work on a team

Clinical duties include:

Recording Patients medical history on EHR
Educate patients about treatment and procedures
Preparing patients for providers examination/assisting during exams

Prior Auth's
Assisting with surgeries
Collecting and preparing lab specimen
Preparing and administering injections
Dressing changes and suture removals

This is a full time position. Office hours Monday-Thursday from 7:30-5:30 Monday to Thursday and Friday's from 7:30 to 12:45 p.m.
