Medical Assistant

**Pediatric office is now hiring for a full- time Medical Assistant

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
•Greet and room incoming patients, collect vitals and medical history
•Prepare all related paperwork and provide meticulous documentation into EMR.
•Frequent phone communication with parents.
•MUST be proficient with vaccinations and vital signs
•Safe collection/handling of all laboratory specimens

Required Skills and Qualifications
•Patient interview/assessment skills; strong verbal and listening skills required
•Exceptional customer service skills, effective patient communication on the phone and in-person.
•Thorough documentation in EMR system; detail oriented
•Must have an impeccable attendance record
•Desire to take on increasing responsibility as role advances
•Dedicated individual with professional, friendly, and compassionate demeanor.
•Self-starter, able to work independently as well as be part of the team
