We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. Office hours are Monday thru Friday 8:45-5:15, one Late-night a week 10:45-8, No weekends! pay $18hr, if possible would love to find a Medical Assistant that is Bilingual in Spanish.
Responsibilities:
- Handle all duties in a timely manner
- Perform routine clinical tasks to support Doctors'
- Updating medical history
- Help with specimen Collection/Track Specimens/ Call Labs
- Escort patients to exam rooms,get Vitals, Help with patient exams
- Upkeep of Exam and Procedure Rooms
- Faxing and Scanning
- Cleaning of instruments
- Depo Shots
- other duties the doctors or management ask of you
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in healthcare
- Punctuality (First patient appointment is at 9am)
- Strong organizational skills and Communication skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work as a TEAM
Large OB GYN practice with 8 Doctors, 3 Managers, 3 Ultrasound Techs, 1 Phlebotomist and a Front and Back staff with some ladies being crossed trained in both jobs, we have in-house billing Mon-Fri.
