Community Clinic looking to hire a MEDICAL assistant
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (include, but are not limited to the following):
- Answer high volume calls and document all call information according to standard operating procedures.
- Schedules appointments, Verifies insurance eligibility.
- handle customer inquiries telephonically And inperson
- provide patients with service information.
- enter new patient information into system update existing patient information.
- process orders and patient requests
- identify and escalate priority issues
- route calls to the appropriate resource when necessary and follow up with patient calls
- contact patients
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements/Experience/Skills:
- Must be bilingual (Spanish)
- Ability to type quickly
- Ability to properly answer the phone
- Strong data entry
- Previous experience in a healthcare call center or customer service environment preferred
- Knowledge of customer service principles and practices
- Knowledge of administration and clerical processes
- Attentive to detail
- Active Listener

- Los Angeles, CA 90044: Relocate before starting work (Required)
