Medical Assistant - Family Medicine - California, Pa

Looking for an experienced Medical Assistant for a busy Family Medicine Practice to assure that each patient visit and the logistical arrangements surrounding the visit are carried out with courtesy, care and consistency. Assist the physician/extender in patient care and education. Ability to display excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills required. The successful candidate will have phlebotomy experience as well.

Responsibilities:

1. Accountable and responsible for the provision of clerical duties and basic medical procedures according to established standards, policies, and procedures of Washington Health System.
2. Accurately reports information to medical staff in order to provide proper patient care.
3. Completes and demonstrates competency in all technical skills and patient care procedures as established by the Washington Physician Group.

Shift: Monday - Friday (alternating with 3 other MAs) start times to include 6:45 a.m. - 3:15 p.m., 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and 10:00 a.m - 7:00 p.m. (Thursdays only).

Hours per Week: 40 hrs
