Medical Assistant Clinical

Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements, including blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and respiration rate
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Provide basic life support in emergency situations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Assist with medical coding and billing processes
- Schedule patient appointments and coordinate referrals to specialists
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Provide exceptional patient service by ensuring their comfort and addressing their needs
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care

Skills:
- Proficient in taking accurate vital signs measurements
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and medical terminology
- Excellent patient care skills, including the ability to provide emotional support and maintain patient confidentiality
- Competent in medication administration techniques
- Basic life support certification preferred
- Familiarity with medical coding systems (e.g., ICD-10, CPT)
- Ability to provide medical administrative support, such as scheduling appointments and managing medical records

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
- Previous experience working in a healthcare setting is highly desirable
