Medical Assistant - Back Office - Eagle Oaks Specialty Center(Bakersfield) - Full

The Medical Assistant (MA)-Back Office is accountable for basic clerical and technical supportive services within a defined scope of practice under the direction of a licensed physician, surgeon, or other licensed health professional. The incumbent functions as a patient care team member assisting licensed staff in the performance and provision of safe and efficient patient care while maintaining high customer service standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• A minimum of six (6) months working in a healthcare environment as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Bilingual skills preferred

• High School Diploma/GED
• BLS - Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire or transfer into position
