Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Assistant/Scribe to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about healthcare, possess excellent communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including rooming patients, taking vitals, and preparing examination rooms.
- Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently using electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Transcribe medical information during patient visits, ensuring thorough and detailed documentation of medical histories, symptoms, and treatment plans.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers to update and maintain patient records, including medication lists, allergies, and pertinent medical history.
- Facilitate communication between patients and healthcare providers, ensuring that all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and professional manner.
- Adhere to all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.
