InVia Fertility Specialists is a state-of-the-art, Hoffman Estates-based, fertility clinic with a strong patient-centered focus. We are growing at a rapid rate and looking for people that genuinely care. Our highly trained staff understand the importance of maintaining a supportive and comfortable environment for each patient. We have five convenient fertility clinics in the north and northwest suburbs and a brand new location opening in Chicago. There we offer a full range of assisted reproductive technologies including non-donor and donor egg IVF, egg freezing, intrauterine (artificial) insemination, pre-implantation genetic diagnosis, assisted zona hatching, intracytoplasmic sperm injection, testicular sperm aspiration, fertility surgery, and more.
We are looking for an outgoing, comforting, empathetic, someone that works well with coworkers and patients, and team-oriented Medical Assistant to join our ever growing practice. This position requires starting at 7:30am, will require occasional coverage at our other offices as needed and will require working some weekends with a staff rotation for coverage. You will be compensated additionally for any weekend hours worked.

Job Duties
- Assist clinical staff in routine functions of infertility treatment.
- Phlebotomy and specimen collection.
- Physician assistance in procedures for all three branches.
- Assist clinical staff with telephone triage.
- Complete required health documents for insurance processing.
- Scheduling procedures and assisting staff with procedure room setup.
- Liaison between clinical staff and laboratory services.
- Assist clinical staff with laboratory results review with physician and patients.
- Prepare and review forms and documents necessary for infertility treatment.
- Require knowledge in general operating of ultrasound machine.
- Appropriate documentation of all patient contact.
- Assist clinical staff in nurse education for patients in all aspect of infertility care and surgery.
- Bilingual in Spanish preferred but not mandatory.
Assumes other duties as assigned by management.
- Education: Certified as a Phlebotomist. Associate Degree in medical field preferred. Basic PC knowledge required.
- Experience: A minimum one year experience in medical practice setting
- Personal characteristics: Good interpersonal abilities, good communication skills, people oriented, but must have sound judgment.
