As a Medical Assistant you will support providers and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication. The target is to complete all duties/ tasks accurately with high quality and in a timely manner.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program
Responsibilities:
- Greet and escort patients to exam room
- Prepare patient for exam/ surgery
- Take patient history and accurately and appropriately documents in patient's electronic medical record (Modernizing Medicine)
- Assist in minor procedures
- Assist with various Office Based Phototherapy Treatment
- Collect/ prepare pathology specimen and requisitions
- Inform patients of biopsy results and schedule follow up treatments
- Clean and sterilize instruments
- Comply with Universal Precautions and OSHA Requirements
- Comply with all office policies and procedures to main confidentiality and integrity of each medical record
- Ability to interact with multiple providers and staff members
- Perform any and all other duties as required to provide exceptional patient care
