SalaryMedical Assistant for a cardiology office in Tarpon Springs who knows ECW EMR and has experience. This is a full time long term job. Only candidates with EMR knowledge and experience will be considered.
Duties will include back office patient care. The MA must be comfortable with triage and assisting with phone calls for appointments, patient refill requests, verify all meds during intake, do EKGs, schedule procedures at the hospital, obtain referrals and insurance authorizations, coordinate scheduling, collect accurate vital signs, diligent medication reconciliation, and obtain patient history efficiently.
This is a full time, fast paced position. We desire someone looking for a long term full time position, who has a good pleasant personality, ability to learn, has good work ethics, punctuality and integrity. Please do not apply if looking for short term employment.
Must pass background check. Must know medical terminology, have keyboard skills, and be able to multitask and work front desk as well, assist with office procedures. F/T for immediate hire. Must have good references.
