Medical Assistant

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant for an immediate opening to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Rooming Patients, weighing ,Blood pressure and EKG's

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records including medications on E-clinical EMR
- Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies
- PT/INR
-Manage and put on Heart Monitors
- Pull Hospital records
- Manage medication refills and authorizations
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, addressing their concerns and answering their questions

-Will travel on Tuesdays to Orange

Qualifications:
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification a plus but not necessary
- Knowledge of medical terminology and medications
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work well within a team and collaborate with healthcare professionals
