Medical Assistant

The Cancer Center Oncology Medical Group is a fast paced private practice located on the grounds of Sharp Grossmont Hospital. We are hiring for a full time Medical Assistant to join our team. Candidate must be able to multi-task and be a self starter. Medical Oncology experience is preferred. The position will include front and back office duties. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:00pm.

Duties may include:

• Heavy clerical work.
• Cross training in all departments (Front Desk, Operator, Medical Records etc.)
• Triaging Phone Calls
• Room Patients
• Maintain Patients EMR Accounts
• Schedule Patients
• Works very closely with providers to deliver excellent customer service

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
