An adult primary care medical practice looking for a Medical Assistant who can assist the physician in providing high-quality patient care while also exhibiting strong customer service skills to our patients and the overall practice. A medical practice looking for a Medical Assistant who will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure the efficient operation of the practice. You will support the physician and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization, and communication.
Responsibilities include
- Triaging calls and assist providers with administrative tasks.
- Pre-Visit planning.
- Verifying patient information, confirming the purpose of the visit
- Preparing patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; taking blood pressure, weight, and temperature; reporting patient history summary, etc.
- Additional responsibilities include computerized appointment scheduling, telephone reception, and chart work.
Skills
- Patient focus with excellent critical thinking skills.
- Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant
- Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures
- Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and planning skills
- Team player
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.50 - $22.50 per hour
