Seeking a Medical Assistant who is clinically and clerically cross trained for front and back office.
As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication such as:
Interview patients and document medical history and vitals
Update medical records via EMR
Assist during medical examinations
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments
Supply Inventory
Perform various injections and phlebotomy as needed
Assist the Doctor with minor procedures
Complete medical paperwork/ forms
Schedule appointments, and more...
REQUIREMENTS
MUST HAVE AT LEAST 2 YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
CPR Certification from the American Heart Association
Experience with EMR, as we are completely paperless
Knowledge of medical terminology
Excellent customer service skills
Able to use Microsoft suites
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively
Act calmly and effectively in a busy or stressful situation
Communicate effectively in the English language in person, by phone and in writing
Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures, including but not limited to standards for safety, attendance, punctuality and personal appearance
Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 coding and Prior Authorizations
