What you’ll do:
The MEDICAL ASSISTANT works as a staff member of the student services team. Primarily responsible for serving as an assistant to the entire student health services department. Coordinates the flow of student to be seen by the health care professionals within program and the scheduling of student to be seen by outside health care professionals. Depending on location, the Medical Assistant reports to the Registered Nurse.
To be considered, you should:
- Be empathetic, patient, and treat others with respect.
- Have a high school diploma or equivalent required.
- Certification for Medical Assistant or Nurses Assistant Required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have a desire to work with troubled teens.
- Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen (We no longer test for THC), physical, and TB test.
