SalarySeeking a self-motivated, people-friendly Full Time Medical Administrative Assistant to perform front desk duties such as greet patients, check-in, check-out, answering phones, scheduling appointments, scanning/copying medical records, insurance verification, and authorizations.
Job Duties
- Scheduling patient appointments
- Assisting incoming patients
- Verifying insurance coverage
- Entering patient demographics into the computer
- Assisting co-workers and physicians as needed. Most importantly, you will be the face of our practice for the many patients who need our help
- Follow scripts for dealing with patients using specific protocols(training provided by company)
- Assisting with billing needs
Job Requirements
- Positive attitude a must
- Must be able to work in a fast paced environment
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in the medical field and knowledge of medical insurance a plus
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
