We are currently seeking a Revenue and Subscriptions Data Scientist to grow the Apple Music business through subscription and revenue-focused analytics, metric development, dashboarding, reporting, and testing.

Key Qualifications
Demonstrated ability in Data Science, and a track record of developing concise and meaningful analytic objectives from general business goals
Tested expertise in scalable schema designs, relational database and big data technologies, ETL, code management, query performance optimization, and documentation
Mastery of SQL-based languages, and proficiency in at least one large-scale data language such as Scala or PySpark
Hands-on experience building interactive dashboards, interpretable machine learning models, and sophisticated analytics using Bash, SQL, and Python
Meticulous attention to detail, an ability to collaborate effectively between business and data groups, and differentiating communication/presentation skills
Description
- Partner with Marketing, Data, and business groups to build an understanding of growth and health drivers for the Apple Music business
- Develop analytic projects from conception to completion, develop roadmaps and requirements, identify risks and develop contingency plans, evaluate impact, and regularly communicate status to partners
- Establish, enhance, and socialize top line and operational metrics that accurately represent the business' state of health and insight into complex subscription dynamics
- Lead proactive analyses that identify key drivers of business health data, and make recommendations that optimize overall business performance
- Develop reporting measures to expand the portfolio of self-service dashboards and reports to inform, enable, and empower Apple Music business partners
- Collaboratively develop and analyze tests to provide insights into the interaction between Marketing efforts and Subscription impacts
- Build a comprehensive view of consumer behavior across the Apple Music platform
Education & Experience
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field. Master's degree or higher in a related field a plus.
