Mechanical Welder

Automation Personnel Services is looking for hard-working Welders for a company based in Calera, AL. In this job, you will be working outdoors repairing railway cars performing various mechanical tasks as well as welding.

 

$18.00 to $21.00 an hour. 

 

Shift: Monday -Friday: 6:00am till 4:30pm

 

•Will be welding on railway cars and performing other mechanical tasks on the cars such as but limited to changing wheels, brake shoes, etc.

•Stooping, bending, and twisting repeatedly 

•Follow workplace safety standards

 

•Mechanic experience a plus

•Ability to stand for long periods and lifting 50 lbs. 

•Detail oriented

•Ability to pass a weld test and must have own welding helmet

•Will be performing other tasks besides welding
