Position Role Type:

Onsite

We are hiring for a Repair Technician to perform repair and overhaul (preventative) maintenance on our product line. This position is located in our Miramar, FL MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility.

Onsite:

  • The work associated with this position will be performed onsite

This is a 2nd shift position.

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Perform varied and complex tasks within the assigned cell
  • Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble and final prep at least 80% of components within the shop (Electric Power, Accessories, Avionics)
  • Resolves most questions and problems
  • Serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
  • Orient, train employees on shop’s product line
  • Lead or co-lead cell’s team in continuous improvement projects. 
  • Act as back up to Lead Technician.

Qualifications/Experience Needed: 

  • HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
  • U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Minimum 3 years of work experience in the aerospace industry
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
  • Willing and able to work extra hours, including weekends as business needs require.
  • Experience in Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
  • A&P license
