OnsiteWe are hiring for a Repair Technician to perform repair and overhaul (preventative) maintenance on our product line. This position is located in our Miramar, FL MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul) facility.
Onsite:
- The work associated with this position will be performed onsite
This is a 2nd shift position.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform varied and complex tasks within the assigned cell
- Disassemble, clean, inspect, assemble and final prep at least 80% of components within the shop (Electric Power, Accessories, Avionics)
- Resolves most questions and problems
- Serve as a resource on several topics, and refers only the most complex issues to higher levels
- Orient, train employees on shop’s product line
- Lead or co-lead cell’s team in continuous improvement projects.
- Act as back up to Lead Technician.
Qualifications/Experience Needed:
- HS diploma with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience is required.
- U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, refugee or asylee) or eligible to obtain necessary export authorizations required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of work experience in the aerospace industry
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Willing and able to work extra hours, including weekends as business needs require.
- Experience in Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- A&P license
