Mechanical Engineer
Pay range: $73-85k DOE

Position Summary
Assist and contribute to the engineering, manufacturing, and quality departments. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining engineering, production, and quality documentation in accordance with the company's Quality Management System.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Create and maintain engineering documentation including product manuals, production work instructions, bills of materials (BOM), and engineering project folders
- Assist with product life cycle management
- Generate, modify, and maintain 3D models, 2D CAD-schematics, PID's and 2D drawings for Cryomech designed parts and products
- Assist drafters in developing the structural design of products using AutoDesk Inventor
- Conduct validation and verification tests for selected products and prototypes
- Test selected products at specified stages in the production process for performance characteristics or adherence to specifications
- Compile and evaluate statistical data to determine and maintain quality and reliability of products
- Support engineering and specific production teams. Ensure all engineering and production documentation and drawings are complete, current and stored appropriately in accordance with the company's Quality Management System
- Maintain a presence on the manufacturing floor and provide a communication link between the engineering production departments
- Participate in Manufacturing Quality audits and work closely with colleagues in the engineering, production, and quality departments to resolve corrective actions in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications and Education Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering from an accredited university or college. Minimum of 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred.
