Job Description
- Creation of solid model assemblies, fabrication drawings, and traveler instructions to ensure the final product meets client expectations.
- Lead multiple projects – coordinate between external stake holders, fabrication, engineering & quality teams to ensure timely delivery of project deliverables.
- Assist with component sourcing and vendor management, as necessary.
- Completion of engineering calculations and Finite Element Analysis (FEA) simulations (when required) to validate design choices.
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of 3 years engineering and fabrication experience.
- Computer Aided Design (CAD) proficiency in Solidworks /Catia /Siemens NX (Solidworks preferred).
- Past Experience with FEA packages – Solidworks Simulation/ Ansys/ ABAQUS (Solidworks Simulation preferred)
- Understanding of ANSI/AWS Weld symbols and Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing notation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work with tight deadlines.
- Strong oral and written communication skills required.

- Minimum of 5 years engineering and fabrication experience.
- Knowledge of cryogenic engineering (preferred not required)
- Experience designing Ultra-High Vacuum systems.
- Experience using Codeware Compress Software in designing bespoke cryogenic, vacuum, and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div 1.
- Experience manufacturing bespoke cryogenic, vacuum, and pressure vessels in accordance with ASME Section VIII Div 1.
- Experience collaborating with ASME Code Inspectors to demonstrate conformance of vessels to code requirements.
- Comfortable reading and creating Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams
