This role is restricted to U.S. persons (i.e., U.S. citizens, permanent residents, and other protected individuals under the Immigration and Naturalization Act, 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)) due to access to export-controlled technology. FTT will require proof of status prior to employment.
An A.S. degree in Drafting and Design Technology or the equivalent is required. We are looking for individuals with a minimum of 5 years' of experience. The Drafter/Modeler shall have a working knowledge of drafting methods, procedures and techniques. He/she shall also possess a working knowledge of Siemens NX or PTC CREO 3D CAD software. PLM software: Team Center or Windchill and SAP experience is desirable.
A Drafter/Modeler must have the skills and experience to perform the following tasks:
- Prepare models and detail drawings of moderately complex to complex parts.
- Prepare models and drawings of moderately complex to complex assemblies and subassemblies.
- Work closely with engineering to incorporate all requirements into a design.
- Manage and prepare large assemblies, including parts list/BOM creation.
- Comply with all related specifications in the preparation of product definition, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
