Mechanical DraftSight Designer/Drafter Responsibilities
- Create/modify CAD models and drawings utilizing DraftSight (2D) and SolidWorks (3D)
- Produce drawing documentation for steel components and welded fabrications per ASME Y14.3 and Y14.5
- Create/modify Bills of Materials
- Adherence to quality assurance and safety protocols.
Mechanical DraftSight Designer/Drafter Qualifications
- 2+ years of CAD drafting with DraftSight and SolidWorks CAD
- Steel fabrication drafting experience.
- Knowledge needed to check for interferences and fit within design.
- Experience in plant or heavy equipment industries is a plus.
- Associates technical degree is a plus.
