Fluidra’s looking for a Mechanical Drafter to join our team at our S.R. Smith facility in Canby, OR.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Supports the engineering team by detailing designs of components and/or assemblies. Develops and maintains product instructions and other Engineering Department documentation. Additionally, you will:
- Under minimal supervision, creates moderately complex 3D models and related 2D CAD drawings for engineering and manufacturing.
- Works closely with purchasing and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy of drawings and specifications.
- Completes first article and incoming quality inspections.
- Reviews, writes, and edits engineering documentation, including product user’s manuals, product work, instructions, test reports, etc.
- Assists engineers with product testing.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Up to 20% travel.
WHAT WE SEEK
- Minimum 2 years of experience.
- Must have strong SolidWorks and AutoCAD skills
- Other Software: ERP, MS Office
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong technical writing skills
EDUCATION
Associate degree in engineering technology, or similar technical degree
