JOB SUMMARY
Join a tight-knit team to design and manufacture beautiful, high-quality carbon fiber products and solutions. Participate in custom engineering projects and develop exciting new DragonPlate® products.
Work with our engineering team to design products and tooling using SolidWorks. Support factory operations by programming and fabricating components using Mastercam and our machining and routing centers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Generate designs and 3D models in SolidWorks from descriptions, sketches, and other conceptual drawings.
- Design parts, tooling, fixturing, and work instructions to reduce defects and lower product costs.
- Apply GD&T and tolerance designs to meet our manufacturing capabilities.
- Perform design tolerance stack-up analysis and incorporate it into designs.
- Ensure all engineering change workflows are completed for changes to released products and processes.
- Program production or proto-type parts using Mastercam software, posting to, setup, and machining on CNC equipment (mills, lathes, and routers).
- Determine each job’s ideal tooling style, speeds, and feeds.
MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate degree in Mechanical Design or related field.
- Proficient with SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Microsoft Office products.
- Demonstrated Ability to Program CNC Mills and Lathes.
- Seeking applicants with five or more years of experience.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities, but demonstrated professionalism could lead to growth.
MENTAL AND VISUAL REQUIREMENTS
High mental and visual attention is required for planning complex work methods and sequences to obtain a product's size, shape, or physical qualities.
EQUIPMENT USED
Computer Software: SolidWorks, Mastercam, and Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, talk, hear, use hands to finger, grasp, handle, or feel, and perform repetitive motions of the hands and wrists.
- Capable of exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and up to 10 pounds constantly to move objects.
