We are seeking a skilled Mechanical/Design Engineer to join a dynamic team. This role focuses on the design and development of packaging machinery, blending existing and innovative designs for peak performance and cost efficiency.
What You Will Do:
- Design and develop mechanics for packaging machinery, optimizing both existing and new designs.
- Prepare detailed working drawings and materials lists for standard manufacturing processes.
- Create standard machinery designs to address our customers' unique packaging needs, enhancing packaging processes.
- Use 3D solid modeling to develop machinery mechanics, focusing on innovation to meet changing customer requirements.
- Conduct precise calculations in kinematics, dynamics, pneumatics, and servo motion analysis for designing automated mechanisms and equipment.
- Generate and manage mechanical bills of materials, ensuring they are structured and ready for manufacturing.
- Develop efficient mechanical drawings for cost-effective manufacturing.
- Research and select the best mechanical components, ensuring proper sizing and functionality.
- Produce assembly drawings for both production teams and customer reference, aiding in component identification.
- Play a key role in cost reduction and enhancing the quality of Mechanical Designs.
- Gain an in-depth understanding of customer specifications for packaging operations and assist in the creation of machine documentation.
What You Need:
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent experience.
- At least 3 years of experience in mechanical and pneumatic design, specifically in packaging machinery.
- Demonstrated design experience.
- Strong proficiency in 3D modeling software.
