Responsibilities:

• Design Excellence: Utilize AutoCAD Inventor extensively to create detailed designs for truck-mounted mobile cranes.
• Component Development: Construct individual parts, components, and sub-assembly/assembly drawings to meet project goals and requirements.
• Engineering Execution: Generate, evaluate, analyze, and execute engineering designs, ensuring they align with product and project objectives.
• Documentation: Prepare accurate drawings, bills of materials, change requests, and approvals.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and other departments, to drive successful project outcomes.
• Potential for Growth: The ideal candidate has the potential to evolve into the role of Engineering Manager, overseeing additional engineers in the future.

Work Arrangement:

• Location: Our facilities are based in the Reno/Sparks, NV area.
• Remote Work: Not applicable; this role requires onsite presence.

Requirements

• Qualifications:
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years of CAD design experience in construction, agriculture, or related industry products.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in AutoCAD Inventor for 3D modeling and drafting.
• Understanding of design principles, engineering documentation, and technical release processes.
• Hands-on experience in manufacturing and/or product assembly.
• Familiarity with weldments and sheet metal parts design.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is advantageous.
• Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
