Primary Responsibilities
In the role of Mechanical BIM Specialist 1, we'll count on you to:
- Create mechanical drawings and perform elementary mechanical design of piping and ductwork for HVAC and Plumbing systems for Industrial, Commercial, Institutional and Mission Critical facilities
- Prepare piping diagrams, ductwork and equipment arrangements, piping isometrics, and other detailed drawings required for fabrication and construction under the supervision of a mechanical designer or engineer
- Complete routing of piping and ductwork in 3D model space using Revit.
- Complete short-term field assignments at client facilities to support project work, as needed
- Perform other duties, as needed

Required Qualifications
- Associate or technical school degree, or combination of education and relevant experience
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate degree in Building Information Modeling (BIM) or Engineering Graphics
- Database familiarity a plus
- Previous experience with an architectural/engineering or engineering consulting firm
