Location: Bensenville, IL
Pay: $19-$23/hr
Shift: 1st
Description:
Candidate must be able to assemble valves off of blueprints. They will be given a print and expected to assemble the pieces off of it. This person will be working in the assembly department.
This person will be required to do the assembly of various size engine lathes. This process will require them to lift various size parts of industrial valves and mount them into place throughout the day. They also will need to be able to measure the parts for accuracy and if the parts need to be adjusted, they will need to grind or "lap" the parts to the correct tolerance.
Once the parts are correct and meet the requirements, they will then work off the blueprint / shop instructions to finish the rest of the assembly. They usually will assembly 5-10 valves a day so not high volume, but more focused on accuracy.

Qualifications:
- 1-3 years assembly experience
- Experience assembling mechanical pieces off of shop drawings.
- Proficient in blueprints
- Experience with GD&T
- Convert decimals to fraction
- Must come from job shop environment
