Hotel Equities, a multi-award-winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable Mechanicfor the Hilton in Harrisburg, PA.

SHIFT: First / Day Second / Afternoon
LOCATION: 1 N 2nd St, Hilton Harrisburg, PA, 17101, US

GENERAL PURPOSE

Perform maintenance and service repairs on heating, venting and air conditioning systems. Equipment worked on includes, but not limited to: heat pumps, chillers, heating systems, fans, pumps, hot water heaters (steam & electric.) This position requires advanced knowledge of system controls (Electric and Pneumatic.)

Have the ability to recognize/troubleshoot problems and the ability to complete tasks with little or no supervision. Also have the ability to instruct and train co-workers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform maintenance and repairs to physical plant building systems (HVAC / Mechanical systems).
• Coordinate services by third party vendors
• Maintain records of
  1. Preventative maintenance
  2. Repair and replacement
  3. Complaint resolution
• Maintain adequate inventory of parts, tool and supplies
• Instruct and train coworkers.
• Due to the nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.

Education/Formal Training/Certifications

High school education or equivalent preferred

Experience

Preferred 3 years experience in HVAC systems and controls (i.e. heat pumps, split systems) High rise building maintenance
