We are looking for a full-time medium duty truck Mechanic Assistant to work on our fleet of vehicles and forklifts. This individual needs to have a positive mindset and ability to move in a fast pace environment. Fun atmosphere and opportunities to move up. Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance on trucks and forklifts such as checking batteries and changing oil to ensure proper vehicle running on both gas and diesel engines.
• Inspect various parts of trucks and forklifts, including brake systems, wheel bearings and steering mechanisms to ensure they are in the proper condition to operate effectively.
• Use different tools and equipment, such as pressure gauges, pneumatic wrenches, welding equipment, screwdrivers, hoists and jacks, to repair trucks while constantly utilizing safety precautions.
• Test drive vehicles to ensure they are running properly and to find issues to determine what the solution will be.
• Replace parts, valves, bearings and gears as needed and repair vehicle cooling and heating systems.

Job Skills & Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to lift heavy equipment and parts regularly.

Final Comments:

• Pay is DOE.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
